HAPPY HALLOWEEN
I've finally gotten in, I have tried several times and it has said,"This page is not found or something like that, very frustrating. Any way, let's see, Ricky is still out, has been almost 2 months since I've seen him. Talk to him several times a day, but it's not the same. He left Baton Rouge yesterday going to St. Louis with a load. Too bad there isn't a road to get there through here.

I've got a doctor's appointment for this Friday, hopefully this will all be over soon. I guess I'll be home through Thanksgiving though. The girls are coming home from Indy so I've been doing alot of cleaning and throwing away to get ready for their visit. Not being home but for short visits during the year leads to alot of accumulating in spare rooms.

I've been doing some crocheting for the new grand daughter that's coming in January. A little shopping too. : )
I found a few things that were Holly's too when she was little, that I've gotten down for her to take back with her at Thanksgiving, stuff I've held on to for 21 years. Gosh, her birthday is just before Christmas, 21, time goes by so fast, and now very soon she will have her own little girl.

Kelly and Brian will be leaving next week for St. Croix to get married on the beach there. I'm afraid we won't get to go after all. Things just didn't work out like I wanted, : ( She knows we'll be with her in thought, and will see them for Thanksgiving when they get back.

If our son, Daniel and his wife Tricia could come up for Thanksgiving it would truly be a house full. Maybe if I wish it hard enough....

Cody and Emily are looking forward to Halloween Friday. Jason gave me a pumpkin painted like a witch for my front porch. I've gotta load up on candy for my two, Sponge Bob crabby patties are their favorites. We didn't have many other children come the last couple of years. Since it's gonna be warmer than usual maybe there will be more this year.

Guess I'll close, glad the computer worked for me today, till next time it lets me in again.....

I"M BACK
S-o-r-r-y, I've just been a very bad blog tender. It's been a month today. We came home on 9-04-08, Ricky had his physical for his health card and passed with flying colors, in spite of passing a 5mm kidney stone a few days before we got home. He amazes me, he started producing these painful things when he was around 23, and has passed hundreds of them since and had several professional removed. I wish doctors could find a cure for them.
Three of our four children, have inherited this bad trait, two of which, have only had one, and one that takes more after his father.

Anyway, I had to make a doctors appointment for me and had to stay home for that, while Ricky went back on the road with Isabelle, but, without me and Paco. He's leaving Texas today, headed towards Denver,Co.

I have been making up for missed time with Cody and Emily, they have been a regular fixture at their Mamue's house. Miss Emily has become quite a talker and even a little singer... Ghost Busters song is one of her favorites for now. Cody is doing really well in 1st grade, he is really looking forward to Halloween though. He will be Indiana Jones and Emily will be a fairy princess. I'm not sure if I will be home for this special day though. After Oct. 7th, if all is well, I think my sweetheart will be coming to get me. We just miss being together. We are on the phone all the time though, worse than a couple of dating teenagers sometimes. : )

I have been to O'Reilly's and seen my friends, and the last two nights, I went to the Rec Center and did some square dancing with our friends in the Rangers and Solo Swingers Clubs. I was thankful to my friends for keeping me from messing up their squares, it's been a while since we have had an opportunity to dance. When Ricky comes back in, I'm gonna try and get him up there for a refresher course. I had a great time, and enjoyed seeing all our friends.... Square Dancing is truly...friendship set to music. If you have never tried it, take some time to find a club giving lessons near you and go for it, I promise, you will love it. I always leave feeling better for being there, alittle out of breath,( it's great exercise), but smiling all the way home. They are having a big dress up dance on Saturday and on Monday nite, hmmmm, gonna try and go, gonna miss my partner though.

Guess I'll close for now... maybe Ricky will add his 2 cents to this after he reads it...
